Wavin Aqora

A BIT ABOUT THE PROJECT

Aqora is a sub-brand of Wavin that focuses on urban water management. They monitor the performance of water with their concept of the world's first Polder Roof, which transforms into smart, controlled, water storage and serves as the foundation for a green roof, rooftop garden, or solar park.

A digital platform was needed for this product, which could provide users with insights into their Polder Roof and its collection and use of rainwater. Also for engineers and architects to gain digital access to the system and manually control or customise it.

DESIGN PROCESS
UX RESEARCH & WIREFRAMING Engagement with key stakeholders to understand the platform purpose and map out potential directions

UI EXPLORATION The UX findings were adopted as a foundation and exploration into key UI elements was undertaken, envisioning a platform identity

DELIVERABLES FOR MVP VERSION The full suite of components needed for the minimum viable product were established and prepared for development

COLLABORATION WITH DEVELOPMENT Weekly check-ins were had with the development and key stakeholder teams to ensure a smooth execution

ONGOING OPTIMISATION The design file was set up for further build of the component library once new platform features were released
